Rachel Hagerman

My name is Rachel Hagerman, and I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in May of 2021.

While attending ASU, I worked as a teaching assistant, or Writing Mentor, in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. I mentored ten English 101 and ten English 102 courses.

 

In my Writing Mentor position, I graded assignments, provided writing feedback, hosted office hours, and developed teaching materials to help improve student writing.

 

I crafted this portfolio to reflect on my growth during my first semester as a teaching assistant.
